Darnell Tyrone McDonald is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball for the Baltimore Orioles, Minnesota Twins, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, and Chicago Cubs of the Major League Baseball. He went on to become a World Series wining Mental Skills Coordinator with the Cubs.

He says, “”You learn when you get to professional baseball that everyone is good. The separator is the seventh game of the World Series, the team that is able to execute under pressure, take off the autopilot button,” he says. “Everything we do, we do better in the present moment.”

Our host, Matthew Repplinger, is the founder/visionary of Pro Positive Yoga, a yoga consulting agency to MLB and NHL teams throughout North America. His mission is clear, to share yoga and mindfullness with as many folks as possible and he uses baseball as his primary vehicle in doing so. Aside from his yoga business he is the owner of the Denver Browns (Denver’s winningest baseball organization) and author of Baseball in Denver (Arcadia Publishing, 2013). Over the last 8 years he’s consulted with nearly half of MLB and has been succesful in popularizing the Yoga Day events that have been happening throughout Major League and Minor League Baseball. He’s been featured by MLB.com numerous times and stays focused on his goal of sharing the practice with as many as possible. He started with the Colorado Rockies out of college (2002) and was with the club through the 2007 National League Championship season before going on to work for MLB prior to starting his own business Pro Positive Yoga in 2013 after identifing a need for yoga within the Game.
